Mike Ashton is managing director of customer experience and change specialists ABCG. ABCG help clients in the UK, Europe, Russia and Asia transform their commercial performance and customer experience by building capability at all levels of the organisation from board room to front line. ABCG’s diverse client roster includes Avon, Oracle, RBS, BaxterStorey, Mövenpick Hotels, Tetra Pak and PwC.
Mike’s commercial experience includes senior roles with some of the world’s leading brands including Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and hotel giant Hilton International, where he was Senior Vice President, global marketing & brand management and a member of the board.
Mike is non-executive director and a trustee of UK charity Revitalise and between 2012 – 2014 was strategic advisor to the Welsh Government on brand strategy, inward investment and tourism.
Mike’s diverse experience and energetic presentation style have made him a popular keynote speaker and chairman at conferences in the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia and the USA.
Based in the UK, Mike is a family man and keen musician, playing drums with Beatles tribute band, The Dung Beatles. Mike has an MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
